The $ 205.000 Grand Prix CSI 4* just ended in Wellington.
Beautiful Palm Beach was a great frame for the Grand Prix, between palms moving in the wind and a fantastic gras field, one of the most spectacular and desired settings. Some of the best riders in the world and particularly from North America came to compete.
Names like Eric Lamaze, Mclain Ward, Darragh Kenny, Olivier Philippaerts, Lauren Hough, Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum formed the field of the competitors.
The winner was Daniel Bluman from Israel, riding Sancha LS, a big and really fast bay horse, that left behind two of the best Lady riders from the USA: Beezie Madden on the agile dapple gray Con Taggio, and Margie Engle, riding Indigo, a big and powerful gray. A series of double clear, very close in time, that made everyone hold their breath until the end. Awesome show!
