WELLINGTON CSI 5 * – MARGIE ENGLE CELEBRATES HER BIRTHDAY WITH THE VICTORY IN THE GRAND PRIX

The Winter Equestrian Festival in Palm Beach  ends  on Sunday 1th april, with the CSI 5 *, after twelve consecutive weeks of competitions, and a stellar prize pool of $ 9 million. 

The Grand Prix, on Saturday, March 31, with a prize money of $ 500,000 saw the victory of Margie Engle, USA rider, right on the day of her sixtieth birthday! Riding Royce, Margie Engle has completed the first round, and the jump off without faults, very fast in 39.35. 
Behind her, the only other double clear, Luis Francisco De Azevedo, with a time of 42.52, riding Comic, on his return after a year of recovering, following the aftermath of a small accident. 
In third place, Conor Swail riding Rubens LS La Silla, with clear round for the first round, and 4 faults for the jump off. 
Fourth place went to Enrique Gonzalez riding Chacna, 0-4; fifth, Ben Asselin riding Cool Feeling and sixth, Mclain Ward riding Hija Van Strokapelleken, 0-12.
